Question: What does Vikram have to do with Regina and the letter?
We found out three interesting things from this week’s episode:
1. The letter was sent from an apartment in Connecticut.
2. Regina had dated a guy from Connecticut last year.
And…
3. The apartment, which had not been lived in for several months, was rented under the name of Vikram Desai.
This definitely raised at least two questions.
Was Regina dating Vikram Desai? This would explain how she got the necklace. If the necklace was important to Vikram and Regina was important to him, he might have given it to her. He could easily have gotten the necklace from the estate lawyers and we’ve already learned he wasn’t faithful to Karen throughout their entire time together.
However, we don’t know for a fact that Regina ever went to that apartment. She could easily have been seeing someone else in Connecticut. However if that’s the case, why did Vikram have an apartment up in Connecticut, especially if the Desai family was having money problems?
Also the question arises of: since the letter was sent after Vikram’s death, then who really sent it? Now there is a very good chance Vikram is alive, but if he’s trying to remain hidden, would he really have sent Regina a letter from an address that’s under his name? But who else could have sent it? And why from that address? Were they trying to send a message to Regina by using that address? It definitely seems whatever the money was paid to Regina for, has to involve Vikram somehow.

We also just found out that Tess & Vikram had a thing… I wonder if Jo’s father knows that & has held a major grudge against the Desai family…
True! That would add to his dislike of the Desai family. But I think there’s more history that we don’t know yet, because Karen accused Kyle to his face of having a grudge, and she only just found out about the affair.
